로마 오디토리움 마이클 나이먼 콘서트

음악도 좋았던 리버틴의 OST와 마이클 나이먼의 다른 창작곡들이 연주된 공연.
1부 리버틴의 OST는 젊은 지휘자가 연주했는데 작은 체구에 편한 복장으로 춤추듯 지휘하는 모습이 귀여웠고, 특히 테마곡에서 등장한 소프라노-오페라공연을 하듯, 감성 넘치는 표정이 풍부한 성량과 어우러져서 정말 눈물 날 뻔 했다. 집에 가면 OST 꼭 사야지. 역시 이탈리아는 가수들의 나라구나 했는데 오늘의 소프라노는 호주사람--;;  

2부는 마이클 나이먼이 직접 지휘하는 창작곡들.
그동안의 OST들과 리버틴의 음악을 들으면서 휘감아 끌어올려주는 느낌이 어딘가 라흐마니노프 같다는 생각이 들었었는데, 영화라는 배경이 없는 다른 음악들은 그다지 감흥이 일지 않았다. 다만 앉아서 지휘하고, 앉아서 노래하는 거 처음 봤다.

자리 안내하던 이쁜 청년 하나가 오늘의 보너스. 바닥나서 구하지 못했던 프로그램을 어디선가 한 장 얻어다줬는데 그게 진짜 마지막이었는지 옆자리 사람들도 달라는 걸 없다고 단칼에 자른다. 왠지 대접받는 느낌에 인상 깊게 감격했다. 쉬는 시간에도 반듯이 인사까지.

공연이 끝날 무렵 피아노가 치고 싶어져서 잠깐 집에 가고 싶었다...

여행안내소에 가면 문화행사일정이 나와있는 책이 있다.

보고싶은 공연을 찜한 뒤 인터넷으로 바로 예약을 하면 좋겠지만 이탈리아는 아직 대행업체가 예매를 하는 것 같았다. 전화예약도 가능할 듯.

내가 예매한 곳은 이곳. 시내에서 멀지 않은 곳이어서 찾는 게 어렵지 않았다. 예매수수료 1유로.
공연장에 따라 다르겠지만 오디토리움 같은 경우는 공연시간에 맞춰 늦게까지 버스가 다니고 있었다. 떼르미니역에서 공연장까지 바로 간다. 버스비는 시내버스요금과 같고 공연장까지는 30분 내외 정도 걸렸다.

***IF : 마이클 나이먼이 일본 애니메이션 "The Diary of Anne Frank" (1995)의 음악으로 작곡했던 곡이라고 한다. the Libertine에는 Rochester's farewell이라는 제목으로 들어있다.
